A Political Litmus Test

The new buzz word is “Conservative” and a lot of people claim to be one.  Some believe in a sliding scale of conservatism but we just don’t understand that thinking.  That’s sort of like being a “little bit pregnant”.  So what is a Conservative?  One definition, when used as a noun, is this:

Conservative ~ A person who is averse to change and holds to traditional values and attitudes, typically in relation to politics.

The word is often used very loosely.  For example, claiming to be a social liberal yet fiscally “conservative” sends confusing messages.  Supporting fiscal responsibility and promoting reduction in the size of government are conservative principles.  But, if you simultaneously support Planned Parenthood, same-sex marriage, or tax funded social programs that only enslave the recipients you fail the “Conservative Litmus Test”.

Liberal Progressive Democrats claim Planned Parenthood, which is, by majority, federally subsidized by your tax dollars, is a support function for women’s health.  In reality, the main function of Planned Parenthood is performing abortions.  Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood and is lauded by liberal Democrats like Hillary Clinton as a hero.  In reality, Margaret Sanger promoted murder and eugenics which carries on today through Planned Parenthood. We are all paying for the murder of the unborn; like it or not.

Aborted

“[We should] apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.” ~ Margaret Sanger

Sanger and KKK

Pictured is Margaret Sanger addressing the Women’s Auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan.  Ironically, 95% of black voters supported a Democrat, Barack Hussein Obama, for President in 2012.

Churchgoers that register as Democrats, but claim to be Christians give support to Margaret Sanger’s philosophy; like it or not.   Most voters are ignorant to the Democratic Platform but it is the antithesis to Christianity.  Jesus didn’t condone abortion or selective sterilization in his teachings.  So, it is through our ignorance that we fail to halt the Liberal Progressive movement.

Progressivism is a disease propagated by our compliance, our meekness, our fear of being adversely socially or economically impacted, or ostracized if we take the moral high ground.

We would argue that the moral high ground is an honorable place to dwell.  Roughly 57 million Protestant evangelicals are registered to vote.  But, in 2012, only about 30 million made it to the polls for the Presidential general election.  In 2016, if we don’t show up at the polls, we will lose our Republic.  It’s all in the numbers and Hillary Clinton’s liberal progressive Marxist cronies can’t wait to take control of our country.  Our Constitution means absolutely nothing to the left.  Their plan is to remove our 2nd Amendment rights by disarming the public.  Once accomplished, with no way to protect ourselves, our 1st Amendment rights will be snuffed out. Recently we have seen that Obama aims to leave office and a legacy of illegally mandating gun control laws.  Read more HERE and HERE

The “Conservative Litmus Test” is this.  When trying to discern the nature of a political argument, individual, or policy, simply ask yourself if it or they support the following:

  • Right to life?
  • Marriage between one man and one woman?
  • Free enterprise and free market capitalism?
  • Strong national defense?
  • Deregulation and reduction in the size of government?
  • Traditional moral values?
  • The Constitution of the United States of America in full?

Hillary Clinton is an enemy to all of the above.  If you think the last 7 years have been tough, just you wait.  We must educate voters and get them to the polls.  We must wake people up to the fact that the government is not their master.  We are the master of our government.  Liberal Progressives like Hillary Clinton think the American public is stupid.  This is not a game as is evidenced by this one very telling quote.

“I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision.  I am really in awe of her, there are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life.”  ~  Hillary Rodham Clinton

Hillary Clinton believes, like Margaret Sanger, that she has the right to slaughter the innocent unborn.  She is counting on the liberal media to sell gun control, but mute any discussion on abortion.  Roughly 30,000 deaths occur each year in the U.S. by firearms, two-thirds of which are suicide.  In contrast, there are well over 1,200,000 abortions performed each year in the U.S.  That’s a 40:1 ration of death by abortion to death by gun.

That means abortion kills 40 times more people each year than guns. This illustrates the fact that progressive liberals like Hillary Clinton care 40 times more about disarming citizens than they do about murdering unborn children.

Hillary Is Here

Hillary and company want to control your choices like the right to defend yourself.  She has no respect for your personal liberty.  Educate your compliant friends and pass this information on.  The quality of life our children and grandchildren will have is dependent upon the action(s) we take Right Now.

Teach Your Children Well

main-thumb-t-8002-200-qqyngbuidcmvqjkohoidicmjzkvlbffdIs your way of life, guaranteed by the US Constitution, being threatened by institutions of higher learning and the politically correct indoctrination of our young people in public schools? The answer is YES and in some very shocking and accelerated ways. The 10 minute film you are about to watch is taken on site at three North Carolina university campuses.  It involves a young journalist posing as a student who “feels damaged, offended, etc.” by pocket copies of our US Constitution being distributed in her dormitory lobby.  This obviously is a journalistic effort to record each university’s reaction to her request to have the US Constitution removed from her residence hall because it is offensive.  For instance, “it allows everyone to own a gun”.

The various responses by administrators are just incredible with the journalist even requesting each administrator shred the document so “it could be kind of like therapy” for her.

Watch the 10 minute video here.

While she has the right to state her opinion she doesn’t have the right to trample on the rights of others.  At least one of the University officials made that clear….. well, sort of.

The video is put out by Jame O’Keefe, an American conservative activist. He produces videos designed to expose “academic, governmental and social service organizations” taking part in abusive or alleged illegal behavior. Exposing the real actions behind ACORN was one of his major accomplishments.

Our First Amendment rights shall not be trampled on!  The Daily News Fix recently focused on three (3) Kinston City Council members who shut down the public voice and proceeded to amend the City’s nepotism policy.  None of them heeded the overwhelming voice and Will of the People.  As a result, the lone incumbent lost her bid for re-election November 3rd.  Each of the newly elected Council members have pledged to rescind the Nepotism Policy Amendment. But just because you have a few fresh faces doesn’t mean the entire body is liberty minded and ready for change.  Wynn Whittington, who brought the Nepotism Policy Change, wrote a nasty column in the Kinston Free Press publicly slamming the Mayor, the Daily News Fix, and the President of the NAACP for opposing his three way power play.  See the COLUMN here,  the response the next day from the Daily News Fix here, and the Daily Haymaker’s spin on the matter.  The Daily Haymaker is a website focused on “Conservative Common Sense Commentary on Politics, Economics, Government, Culture and other Aspects of Life in the Carolinas”.  Good to know they agree.

If we are to educate our children properly, especially in public schools, we must first teach them an accurate account of why, as far as Freedom and Liberty are concerned, America is the last holdout.  We, and I mean all of us, must teach our kids why our Constitution is the supreme law of the land and the most powerful governing document ever written.  Everyone wants to come to America.  They want to come here for a better life (and the free stuff we are handing out doesn’t hurt their reasoning).  Stop being so damned politically correct and demand the same from others, including your school system!  It’s your job as parents to educate your own kids, not the government’s, which is the bulk of the problem!  This is OUR country and OUR culture.  We are fighting a losing battle.  Generation by generation we are losing soldiers (in our youth) and gaining indoctrinated compliant cowards that will give our country away with a ribbon tied to it.  If you don’t believe me now, you will later.

Jesus Wasn’t Politically Correct…. Why Are You?

For Christians this is a special time of the year. During the Easter season we honor Jesus’ message to the world.  His persecution by the Roman prefect, Pontius Pilate who ordered him to be nailed to a cross and left to die, taken from the cross and sealed in a tomb, and the amazing discovery that Jesus, the Son of God, had risen….. the tomb was empty, He had risen!

Yes, the hasty judgement and persecution toward Jesus reflects  the  politics of that day.   Considered blasphemous by some, Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and me.  The Roman government’s fear of losing control over their people  is reminiscent of our current society.  Human nature and government grabs haven’t changed much in the last 2000 years.  Today, many Christian denominations consider politics taboo, some in fear of losing their non-profit status.  Like the early church, they hide from the government but comply when it comes to social issues like gay marriage, even though the Bible forbids it.

The political correctness problem, along with fear of government retribution, is by and large the biggest problem we face as a society, isn’t it?   Fear is counter to Faith but our churches run from confrontation.  How easily we have conformed and complied with the constant assault by bureaucrats to preserve their power structure.   In these united States of America that “power structure” now denies Christians expression of religious freedom while inequitably offering more rights to the Muslim world.   And it’s progressively getting more severe on a local and international level.   Just a few days ago, 147 innocent Christian college students at a Kenyan university were physically separated and publicly murdered by radical Islamic group Al Shabbab. Their Quran instructs them to kill all infidels and if you don’t believe in Mohammed’s word you ARE an Infidel.

Muslims try to convince you their religion (really a warped ideology) is a peaceful one.  But the evidence confounds that myth.  Sexual mutilation, sexual child abuse, beheading and stoning those who disagree with their thinking all prove Islam to be violent and perverse.  These are all  methods of control to dominate and control a compliant populous and grow their base of believers.

In direct opposition to the Quran, Christianity uses the persecution of Jesus to illustrate to all believers that loving our fellow man, maintaining high moral character, being charitable and faith in God, his Father, is the way.   He promises us everlasting life and forgiveness only for the asking.  It is the trilogy of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost that we rely on as Christians daily.  The Holy Ghost speaks to us, directs us and calms our soul.

In these uncertain times, let us practice our faith and rely on the Word of God.  Politics and religion has always been intermingled, like it or not.  We, as Christians, should focus on our own faith first but supporting  and electing true Christian leaders whom will rely on God’s word in making the right decisions for our local, state and federal government.   It is easier to bow to a false master than be Christlike and do the right thing.   But anything less is a disservice to our children and future generations.  I pray this Easter will be a time of renewal for you and your family.
