Five RINOs Ride The “Greenie Gravy Train”

Last week NC House Bill 681, sponsored by Representatives Millis, Hager, Collins and Warren, was voted on once in committee but halted for now at least.  This bill is a conservative “no brainer” but five Republican RINOs (the new Fab Five) killed it for reasons that will be revealed.  We can’t identify why these five would perpetuate these renewable energy ponzi schemes.  What’s in it for them?  The taxpayers lose.

HB 681, among other things, provides a way to “sunset” renewable energy mandates like solar farms.  Current renewable energy standards require NC utilities to be generated from renewable sources such as solar and wind farms, and biomass.  The current production requirements will gradually increase from 3% to 12.5% by 2021.  This common sense bill proposes to level the required production at 6% until 2018 at which time the requirements would end.  Solar farm production, wind turbines, etc. are all highly federally subsidized.  There is also a 35% State tax credit associated with these projects.  Without these subsidies, it simply isn’t profitable for the private sector to build these projects.  A return on investment would take decades to realize.  For instance, with government subsidized sustainable energy projects like solar farms, ONLY two entities profit; the land owner and the solar company.  Energy can not be stored and must be used as it is produced.  NO SAVINGS are passed on to the consumer.  Additionally, valuable farm land that once was used to grow food for TRUE sustainability is squandered.  The sustainable energy game is merely an Agenda 21 trap set to snare a few RINOs and most Democrats for all the wrong reasons.

Our source tells us that Representatives Kelly Hastings (Cleveland), Nelson Dollar (Wake), John Bradford (Mecklenburg), Sam Watford (Davidson), and Chris Malone (Wake) found that snare and opposed this bill.  Hastings went out of his way on Facebook to defend his stance, arguing with constituents and citizens around the State.  They just wanted to understand why he wanted to continue subsidizing this liberal liberty squelching concept, a waste of the taxpayers’ money.

Hastings clearly has no solid reasoning here.  In one Facebook exchange Representative John Blust (Guilford) pointed out to Hastings that his earlier claim, he needed more time to find out “what’s in the bill”, sharply conflicts with his claim that his vote will save jobs in Cleveland County.  He also claimed the bill to be “too liberal”.  We find this laughable since this bill is the antithesis of liberal ideology designed to rid the taxpayers of this Liberal Progressive scheme.  Corporate welfare is NOT a conservative principle, Mr. Hastings.  Renewable energy mandates are subsidies that lines the pockets of only a few.  Mr. Hastings, the citizens of this State are paying for those subsidies and your boys in Cleveland County (and others) are riding the “Greenie Gravy Train”.

When asked “Will you pledge not to take any campaign contributions from any solar/alternative energy companies” his reply was, “it’s illegal for state candidates in N.C. to take campaign contributions from corporations and from lobbyists”. We replied, “Yes, but political committees/individuals connected with this industry…there are always strings attached”.  His noncommittal and snide reply was, “When you get the courage to run, you can decide how you want to handle your campaign.”  

It takes courage to stand up for what you believe in.  If you have nothing to hide and your motives are pure, there’s no need to argue with your constituents regarding your vote.  Vote on your conscience, conservative principles, and the best available evidence.  There’s something fishy when five Republicans oppose a bill that will save taxpayer money and eliminate subsidies.  It’s been said, “All conservatives aren’t Republicans and all Republicans aren’t conservative”.  This bill will be “reconsidered” at a later date.  We hope these five remember between now and then why they were elected.  We also hope you, as taxpayers, will call and express your concern and ask them to reconsider when the vote comes up again.  Remind them that anyone can be replaced.

Obama’s Tasteless, Foul And Shameful Display Leaves Even Liberals Shocked

If you watched Obama do his attempted stand up comedy routine at the White House Correspondents dinner Saturday night you might agree that it was a foul and tasteless display…. from the President of these United States of America.  He repetitively put down Republicans in an attempted Dean Martin Roast fashion but left even the most liberal in the audience shaking their heads in disbelief.

Obama proved, once again, that his temper and narcissism prompt him to act like a spoiled teenager, even going so far as to say Ted Cruz views himself as the “center of the universe”.   How bizarre is that coming from the guy that holds three(3) press conferences a week?  He joked about public accusations and rumors of everything from his golf game, to amnesty, to his Muslim faith.  Most of what he reduced to jokes are not funny at all but he continued to attack Republicans producing little or no laughter.  He began to appear the dictator that he is!

Perhaps the most bizarre stunt was a guy his “Anger Interpreter” (or something like that) joining him behind the mic acting as Obama’s sub-conscience using ghetto lingo.  While Obama stayed “cool” in his tone, this guy stated what Obama was really thinking.  I guess what really stood out was the kept using the terms, “white folks”, “old white people” and so on.  But that’s okay if you’re black, ….or whatever.  I thought to myself, George W. would never do or say anything like this.  His character, upbringing, and decency would never allow it…. plus he doesn’t get that “free pass”.

Just disgusting.  Obama is omnipotent…. to Obama.  But Obama is dangerous to ALL Americans, our liberty and our way of life.  He has pushed his Marxist Liberal Progressive Socialist agenda for 7 years.  The damage he’s has inflicted will continue to reveal itself for decades.  To Obama and his minions, it’s all a joke, just like his idiotic display during tonight’s dinner.

It’s not a joke when you’ve added more to our national debt than all the past presidents combined, or when you play poker with our lives and the lives of American soldiers overseas and at home with your military incompetence.  It’s not a joke when you and Michelle take $30 million dollar vacations on our dime eating lobster and caviar when the economy is about to tank for good.  It’s not funny to millions of small business owners who are the backbone of the American economy when you force damaging mandates like the ACA (Obamacare) on ALL Americans and tonight make the FALSE CLAIM that 9 our of 10 Americans are insured!  I ask you, sir, even if that were true, HOW in God’s name could that be possible without abusing the middle class to prop this atrocity up.  It’s just another socialist subsidy, another food stamps program, another means of CONTROL.  Another way to grow the BIG Government machine!

Mr. POTUS,…. SC Representative Joe Wilson said it well in your State of the Union address 6 years ago?  Joe yelled out for all the world to hear, “You LIE!”  He was “right as rain” and I have personally thanked him for speaking out against you.  You don’t fool anyone!  The weak minded and immoral may follow you.  You hand out “free stuff”, why wouldn’t they?  True patriots, Christians and hard working Americans know better.  We WILL take this country back because YOU have STOLEN from us way too long.  You spoke tonight of your legacy.  You will go down in history as the man that ALMOST destroyed America.  Thanks for waking the dead,  They’re on OUR team now!

False Narratives Masquerade As Facts

You hear the term “False Narrative” thrown around a lot nowadays in the media.  Conservative, liberal, and “apolitical” media outlets claim their “news” to be the best source of truth.  The Press has a hard time separating fact from advertising dollars and other hidden influences.  They purport to separate the meat from the inedible bone and gristle so you may consume the remainders, no questions asked.  Just trust them to report it straight, they say.

What is a “False Narrative” and why should you care?  A “False Narrative” is a story told falsely, a misrepresentation of fact(s) to satisfy an agenda.  POTUS Obama is the King of False Narratives.  The Press “walks on eggshells” and goes out of their way to protect the “first black President”, another false narrative.  Though he’s been involved in numerous scandals the Press insulates pertinent facts by reporting fiction (going for the emotional jugular vein, telling the story in a less damaging fashion)….. or not reporting at all.  Result?  Obama gets another free pass and it is repeated on a regular basis.  These tactics are used to protect members of “his majesty’s” cabinet, Democratic Congress members and  liberal organizations that might cross the proverbial line.

Warner Todd Huston describes it well in an article appearing in Breitbart February 27, 2012 when he states, “A false media narrative is established by the partisan press, politician adds said meme to a policy speech, presto-chango, a political “fact” is born. But it’s all just a partisan hit job masquerading as fact.”

Here are some examples of false narratives:

  • President Obama went before the United Nations and compared Ferguson to ISIS (the hands in the air False Narrative was allowed to continue for seven (7) months by Obama and  Atty. General Eric Holder) while Obama rode the emotional tide to pad and feed his own political agenda.  He is the master of the adage, “Never let a good crisis go to waste”.
  • Obama has pointed out continuously the “fact” that Osama Bin Laden was killed on his watch in an attempt to mask his ineptitude in fighting terrorism from Al Queda to ISIS.  Meanwhile US borders remain wide open for terrorists to walk across or fly across our borders.  Obama continues to put American soldiers and others at risk when he should fulfill his duties as President by protecting American citizens on US soil. He’s building a militarized police force on our own soil in the name Dept. of Homeland Security, the intent of which is not be to protect or secure American citizens but instead have the ability to control American citizens that disobey his mandates… while he simultaneously rams his unconstitutional amnesty for illegals (by fiat) down our throats granting them instant rights natural born citizens don’t have.  This will inundate our already broken welfare system adding millions to those who already get “free stuff” and elevate unemployment further.  Of course this is part of Obama’s plan to keep the indigent, ignorant and/or liberal progressive Democrats blindly voting for Democrats that continue to abuse the system and oppress those very people who keep them in power.
  • “It’s time for this country to have national policing… We can’t go from state to state, we’ve got to have national law to protect people against these continued questions.” ~ This attempted false narrative came from the lips of the “Reverend” and Race-baiting Opportunist Al Sharpton just minutes after the South Carolina police shooting.  Since it’s on video for the world to see we all know the cop performed a criminal act. Do we really need Sharpton chiming in?  No, but Sharpton subscribes to the big government model, where everyone “pays their fair share”, where everything is “free” to those choosing not to pay their fair share, and a racially bias system that protects only the “disenfranchised black population”…. only one’s color matters.  Forget the crime committed or the facts in the case, “Black Lives Matter”, right?  Well all lives matter and we know that. But Sharpton makes a living race-baiting and perpetuating racism, not fighting it.  Al Sharpton is one big “False Narrative”.

My wife’s 88 year old Grandmother called me a few minutes ago very upset about the ex-Air Force staff sergeant and Playboy model that interrupted a flag stomping at Valdosta State University during a supposed protest against racial inequality.   Grandma is fighting mad at how desecration of our flag can be allowed.   We discussed the First Amendment to the Constitution.  Congress passed the first Flag Protection Act in 1968; then 48 of 50 states passed their own statutes protecting the flag.  But in 1989 SCOTUS overturned every one of these statutes in Texas v. Johnson, 491 U.S. 397  as a violation of the 1st Amendment.   Congress responded by passing the 2nd Flag Protection Act but SCOTUS overturned that provision in United States v. Eichman, 496 U.S. 310 in 1990.  Their ruling doesn’t make it right by any standard.   It took a lot of courage for Michalle Manhart to stand in the gap where no one else was willing to stand.  Hats off for her answering this patriotic call.

Is there a false narrative being pushed here?  I think so.  The liberal media goes to great lengths to highlight the facts 1)Manhart posed for Playboy and 2)she was trespassing on campus.  Manhart trespassed and arrested for that crime.  But what about the actions of students desecrating our flag?  Where’s the discussion regarding the legality and constitutionality of these shallow and unpatriotic actions?  The false narrative is “Playboy Bunny Arrested At Protest….”.  The real question and real news story, “Constitutionality of Flag Desecration” is passed over.  The real news is diverted to the back of the bus and buried in tabloid chatter.   We, at the Daily News Fix, believe it’s time to challenge the 1990 ruling.  Our flag is a symbol of freedom and liberty to US citizens as it is to all countries of the world because We are the last hold out!  University students and most instructors are idealists.  There are far too many that never left campus masquerading as college professors with fat salaries and pensions and little in the way of responsibilities, funded in part by your tax dollars and free to push their Marxist views on young minds.   We, at The Daily News Fix, agree that cultural tolerance is a civilized way to conduct business.  But this is the United States of America, not Bangladesh.  “Don’t Tread On Me” or my beliefs.  As long as you and I stand idly by and watch this kind of nonsense take place, the leftist liberal progressive nut-jobs will continue to whittle away at your liberty.  As we have seen time and time again, Morality and Patriotism don’t count for much with the Justices presiding over the Supreme Court of the United States of America.   As Patriotic American Citizens, doing the right thing means everything and we can make a huge difference in the direction this country is headed.

NC Republican Delegation Still In Peril ~ Lt. Governor Talks to the Daily News Fix

The Daily News Fix recently asked North Carolina Lt. Governor Dan Forest a few questions regarding the current problem with the 2016 Presidential Primaries.  An issue was created when, in 2014, the Republican National Convention (RNC) changed their rules after the North Carolina General Assembly (NCGA), in 2013, had moved North Carolina’s Presidential Primary date to February 16th.  This created a “Problem” because, according to RNC rules, there are only four states allowed to hold primaries prior to March 1, 2016 and NC is not one of them.  The penalty for holding the primary early is having our 72 hard earned delegates stripped to 12 delegates at the National Convention.  The RNC will not amend their rules to remedy our “Problem” here in North Carolina.

In what may have been an honest attempt to stake out strategic ground for NC in the Presidential Primaries, spotlighting and making us relevant, the NCGA has created a big “problem”.  Or was the “problem” created by RNC?  Neither wishes to concede.  But it’s a fact that without a date change we automatically lose 60 delegates.

The reluctance to change the date has some merit.  The Daily News Fix talked to a few NC Senators over the weekend and they were clear in their reasoning.  They do not want to “set a precedent” by reacting to RNC rule changes.  What they would like to see is the RNC agreeing to certain provisions so this bit of history doesn’t repeat itself.  They say Leadership might concede to a date change if an agreement is made with RNC so this sort of thing won’t happen again.  In other words, each would swallow a little pride and move past this while keeping our 72 delegates.  While this is an honorable position to take, when asked the question, “Who has been talking to RNC and what progress is being made?”, there were assumptions but no one could say for sure.  We have stressed in earlier articles in The Daily News Fix that NC’s 72 delegates were earned by the sweat of the brow and belong to the grassroots conservatives that fought in various capacities to attain the Republican Super Majority. It is NOT the right nor privilege of the NCGA to roll the dice with OUR delegates.

~The Interview~

Daily News Fix ~ The 72 delegates to RNC were earned by the grassroots activists that worked to attain a super majority in NC. Wouldn’t you agree that the NCGA would be very shortsighted in keeping the February 16th Presidential Primary date and lose 60 delegates?
Lt. Governor Dan Forest ~ “I agreed with the original intent of moving up our primary so that NC could be more relevant in the selection of the President of the United States. However, when the RNC set their rules, stripping early states of their delegates, that changed everything. At a minimum, we should move the date back to March 1, so that we do not penalize our delegation at the National Convention. I personally favor March 22 as a viable date to hold the primary, as we would be the largest “winner take all” state at stake that day.”

Daily News Fix ~ Some legislators were concerned about the timing of the Presidential Primary and the effect that would have on increased sales tax revenue, hence their reasoning for an earlier primary. Isn’t that kind of missing the point?
Lt. Governor Dan Forest ~ “I think it is valid to take this into consideration, but remember, when you move it from February to March you are still moving it ahead of where our primary has traditionally been held, which is May. March is still earlier than May, and by putting it in March and keeping our delegation at its full 72 delegate voting strength, you will still incentivize the field of candidates to travel to NC to campaign and bring the economic benefit of these visits to our state.”

Daily News Fix ~ Those advocating for keeping the Feb 16th date claimed the sales tax revenue would offset the cost of 2 primaries totally discounting the fact we would lose 60 delegates. Do you think that justifies a split primary and losing 72?
Lt. Governor Dan Forest ~ “Whatever date the General Assembly picks needs to be after March 1. To do otherwise, strips us of our delegates and kills our relevance in picking a Presidential candidate. If NC is only worth 12 delegates and those delegates are awarded proportional, not winner take all, then NC would be worth 2, maybe 3, delegates to the eventual winner. None of the Presidential candidates will make a major push in our state if they can only obtain 2 or 3 delegates by winning it.”

Daily News Fix ~ What do you think about combining the general and Presidential primaries?
Wouldn’t this be a great savings to the taxpayers?
Lt. Governor Dan Forest ~ “If we can combine them, I think we should, so as to save the costs of having two primaries. I know there are members of the General Assembly concerned with that and hopefully having discussions to address that issue as this moves forward.”

Daily News Fix ~ What measures would you recommend to prevent voter fatigue if the general and presidential primary are not recombined?
Lt. Governor Dan Forest ~ “I don’t think two primaries is enough to cause fatigue. I think it best if they were combined, but more from a perspective of saving money than causing fatigue.”

Daily News Fix ~ For those who say Winner Take All is an unfair method for in the Presidential Primary, what you say to them?
Lt. Governor Dan Forest ~ “I think proportional and winner take all are both fine systems. I prefer winner take all because it makes NC a big prize and incentivizes the candidates to spend quality time, money and effort in our state.”

The Daily News Fix agrees with the Lt. Governor on each point.  However, the question regarding voter fatigue deserves further discussion.  Two primaries are a definite disadvantage when it comes to getting voters to the polls.  What about the volunteers?  Volunteers do just that, they volunteer…. most taking time from work to stand outside the polls all day or work in other capacities throughout the election cycle.  Combining primaries makes good fiscal sense but also keeps volunteers engaged and willing to stay in the fight.

The Daily News Fix thanks Lt. Governor Dan Forest for his stance and his devotion to this issue.  We hope that his voice of reason will influence the NC Senate leadership to take a hard look at moving the date for the 2016 Presidential Primary to March 22, 2016 and combining with general primary.  We hope our readership will take the time to call or visit you NC Senator or Representative in the near future and voice your concerns on this issue.

Hillary’s Plan ~ Keep Them “Dumbed Down”, “Barefoot and Pregnant”

The “Lame Stream” media can’t help themselves. Today they reported on Hillary eating her first Chipotle burrito….. folks, America’s IQ is near gutter level and that’s because “Big Gub’ment” has kept the majority of Americans “dumbed-down”, “barefoot and pregnant”.  It’s an attempt to control votes by dangling the carrot with their liberal progressive freebies.  If you don’t believe it, come tour the housing projects with me in my town.  We’ll do a poll.  It’ll be fun.

Hillary is actually a nasty individual with the mouth of drunken sailor and violent temper to boot.  But her voter base is uneducated, lacking moral fortitude and have no fiscal or social responsibilities.  So Hillary runs a socialist campaign promising the poor more “free stuff”, proclaiming the “rich” must pay their fair share.  It’s been working for decades.  Her march on America is only a continuation of Barack’s Tour of Damage and Destruction, progressively destroying our capitalist Republic society and replacing it with Marxist principles where everyone is dependent on “Big Gub’ment”.

Some documented examples of Hillary’s hormonal moments:

  • “F**k off! It’s enough that I have to see you shit-kickers every day, I’m not going to talk to you too!! Just do your G*damn job and keep your mouth shut.” ~ Christopher Andersen’s 2004 book, American Evita (She didn’t like the Troopers assigned to protect her)
  • Stay the f**k back, stay the f**k away from me! Don’t come within ten yards of me, or else! Just f**king do as I say, Okay!!!?” ~ Former FBI agent Gary Aldrich’s 1996 book, Unlimited Access (she was talking to the Secret Service)
  • “If you want to remain on this detail, get your f**king ass over here and grab those bags!”  ~ from “The First Partner” p. 259 (when a Secret Service agent told Hillary it wasn’t in his job description to carry her luggage)

These are just a FEW examples of this foul mouthed Presidential candidate.  There’s absolutely nothing appealing about Hillary Clinton.  But can you imagine having this piece of work leading our nation and living off your dime in the White House?  Me either!

We can’t control a lot on a national front but we CAN keep an eye on  local and state issues and who’s controlling the agenda.  When you see someone with an inkling of Progressivism in them, Challenge them, Expose them and Replace them with Conservative Thinkers.  Start locally!

Nix/Ragan Roundtable ~ 1st Edition

This is the first edition of the Nixes and the Ragans (Nix/Ragan Roundtable) getting together at our kitchen table to discuss important issues that affect all of us on a local, state and national level.  We hope to bring you additional discussion on a regular basis.

In this edition we discuss the issues surrounding the 2016 Presidential Primary and the fact that hard earned Republican delegates will be lost if the date is not moved into March, 2016 by the NCGA.  We present some history, many reasons why moving the date to March 22, 2016 is the most beneficial to the voters, better for the taxpayers, and will put NC in the spotlight leading up to and on Primary day.

The Purpose Of Government

When our country declared independence from the British in 1776, there was still much work to be done in setting out how our country was to be governed. We had just severed ties with a monarchy and our new form of government was yet to be determined. Our forefathers were wise to the ways of tyranny. They knew that liberty was only preserved through sacrifice and vigilance.

Perhaps the most well-known lines from our Declaration of Independence is, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness …” What a powerful sentence! That declaration states that we are all free to live and pursue our dreams.

In the very next sentence, our framers stated, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed …” This tells us that our government was formed by men and it is by our consent as citizens as to how we do business.

In other words, the government works for us, the people, not the other way around.

Samuel Adams was known as the Father of the American Revolution. After the signing of the Declaration of Independence, he was quoted as saying, “We have this day restored the Sovereign, to whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and … from the rising to the setting sun, may His Kingdom come.” It is clear that our nation was formed as a Christian nation and our rights come from God, not from government. This is the resounding theme throughout the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution that came later.

So if our rights come from God and we are free to do as we wish, what is the intended function of government? From an article published in The Mandate dated April 22, 2008 By Stephen K. McDowell & Mark A. Beliles, James Madison, the fourth President of the United States and “Father of the Constitution” established five functions of government in the preamble to the Constitution. This, mind you, was over 225 years ago and still rings true. One reason is because they are all biblically sound.

They are:

1. To establish justice — Romans 13 and 1 Peter 2:14, the government is to punish evildoers and protect those who do right

2. To insure domestic tranquility — From Paul’s prayer for government in Timothy 2:1-2 — “in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity”

3. To provide for the common defense — The protection of innocent human life — the provision of an army for protection from external threats

4. To promote the general welfare — Romans 13:4 says that civil rulers are servants “to you for good”

5. To secure the blessings of liberty — Blessing are a gift of one’s Creator, not a privilege granted by government. These blessings include life, liberty, and property. It is clear the founders intended for our government to protect, not to provide

These are the functions of government as set out using biblical principles by Christian men for the good of the people. In short, it is our job to provide for our families by producing or bartering for food and goods. It is our job to protect our families from domestic dangers and to provide ample safety for our families.

Not only is it our job but it is our God-given right. It is the job of our government to provide those things we are unable to provide for ourselves. Infrastructure like sewer systems, roads, fresh water and police protection would be examples of government functions.

We should not forget that our rights come directly from God. There is no government that can give you your right to life, to liberty, to pursuit of happiness! Those things come only from God. I conclude then that government’s function is one of service not of dominion over its people.

It is intended to serve the good of all her people.

The Timeless Humor & Wisdom of Jerry Clower ~ “The Pet Squirrel”

Jerry Clower is a down-to-earth country boy comedian who grew up dirt poor but still made it big in the entertainment business.  His love for God and country shines through in all his routines.

I grew up listening to his comedy on 8-track.  This simple parable about a pet squirrel illustrates and identifies my frustration with a governmental system that has sucked the life out the American workforce.  We are left with nearly half the population being dependent on government instead of self.  What a shame to throw it all away.

Jesus Wasn’t Politically Correct…. Why Are You?

For Christians this is a special time of the year. During the Easter season we honor Jesus’ message to the world.  His persecution by the Roman prefect, Pontius Pilate who ordered him to be nailed to a cross and left to die, taken from the cross and sealed in a tomb, and the amazing discovery that Jesus, the Son of God, had risen….. the tomb was empty, He had risen!

Yes, the hasty judgement and persecution toward Jesus reflects  the  politics of that day.   Considered blasphemous by some, Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and me.  The Roman government’s fear of losing control over their people  is reminiscent of our current society.  Human nature and government grabs haven’t changed much in the last 2000 years.  Today, many Christian denominations consider politics taboo, some in fear of losing their non-profit status.  Like the early church, they hide from the government but comply when it comes to social issues like gay marriage, even though the Bible forbids it.

The political correctness problem, along with fear of government retribution, is by and large the biggest problem we face as a society, isn’t it?   Fear is counter to Faith but our churches run from confrontation.  How easily we have conformed and complied with the constant assault by bureaucrats to preserve their power structure.   In these united States of America that “power structure” now denies Christians expression of religious freedom while inequitably offering more rights to the Muslim world.   And it’s progressively getting more severe on a local and international level.   Just a few days ago, 147 innocent Christian college students at a Kenyan university were physically separated and publicly murdered by radical Islamic group Al Shabbab. Their Quran instructs them to kill all infidels and if you don’t believe in Mohammed’s word you ARE an Infidel.

Muslims try to convince you their religion (really a warped ideology) is a peaceful one.  But the evidence confounds that myth.  Sexual mutilation, sexual child abuse, beheading and stoning those who disagree with their thinking all prove Islam to be violent and perverse.  These are all  methods of control to dominate and control a compliant populous and grow their base of believers.

In direct opposition to the Quran, Christianity uses the persecution of Jesus to illustrate to all believers that loving our fellow man, maintaining high moral character, being charitable and faith in God, his Father, is the way.   He promises us everlasting life and forgiveness only for the asking.  It is the trilogy of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost that we rely on as Christians daily.  The Holy Ghost speaks to us, directs us and calms our soul.

In these uncertain times, let us practice our faith and rely on the Word of God.  Politics and religion has always been intermingled, like it or not.  We, as Christians, should focus on our own faith first but supporting  and electing true Christian leaders whom will rely on God’s word in making the right decisions for our local, state and federal government.   It is easier to bow to a false master than be Christlike and do the right thing.   But anything less is a disservice to our children and future generations.  I pray this Easter will be a time of renewal for you and your family.
